Sports events are a fine thing: finally you can experience the stars from the television once completely live and from the front row! Although you will certainly miss the slow motion of the television in the beginning, the incredible atmosphere in the hall or stadium will continue to fascinate you long after the event!
Berlin is not only a party city or a cultural and opera temple, but also a modern and innovative sports metropolis! Even if we are not in the best position in the Bundesliga, the fans remain loyal to their Hertha and there is hardly a weekend in the year without further sporting highlights! Berlin has top teams in ice hockey, handball, volleyball, basketball. In Berlin-Grünau, rowing and canoeing stars are promoted, young Boris and Steffis grow up in tennis at Red-White and Blue-White, the hockey world champions of tomorrow train at the BHC, the upcoming pros swim, do gymnastics and run in Hohenschönhausen and, last but not least, successful horses trot in the oval with their jockeys in Marienfelde and Hoppegarten. At the Olympic stadium the horses walk over obstacles or in the parcour, in Schönwalde polo is played! The cyclists spend their money at one of the last two 6-day races in Germany, in June the Velothon takes place right across Berlin, the marathon and half-marathon of the runners are added. As you can see, there is no peace and quiet in this city!
